Houat se découvre uniquement à pied ou à vélo car les véhicules à moteur sont interdits sur l’île.

Pas de voiture sur l’île : On marche au milieu de la lande, le long des dunes ou sur les falaises dominant la mer. Faire, le tour de l’île par le sentier long de 15 kmn, c’est 4 à 5h de randonnée.
